Schedule/Hours:
- Six-week rotation schedules
- Three call shifts within each six-week period
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license and experience in PACU
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; NIH Stroke Scale proficiency
- Trauma and pediatric nursing experience highly valued
- Strong ventilator monitoring skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide expert peri-anesthesia nursing care for a 40-bed PACU (1:2 patient ratio)
- Manage patients through surgical recovery, including lab draws, catheterizations, and safe transport
- Operate and monitor standard PACU equipment
- Utilize Cerner for documentation
- Float as needed within peri-anesthesia areas (Endoscopy/PreOp/Phase II)
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and outstanding safety standards
