Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients emerging from anesthesia, ensuring stability and comfort
- Manage pain control and post-operative care plans
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams and anesthesiologists to optimize recovery outcomes
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress and care interventions
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and changes in patient status
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active RN license with PACU nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in monitoring vital signs and managing airway support
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Capability to work independently within a dynamic clinical environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
