Schedule/Hours:
- 5A - 5P schedule for optimal work-life balance
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients in a 9-bed Pre-Op and 5-bed Phase 2 recovery unit
- Monitor and support patients through Phase 2 recoveries from procedures like Urology, GYN, and various same-day surgeries
- Assist with preoperative assessments for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, and outpatient infusions
- Administer blood transfusions and perform EKGs as needed
- Respond to on-call shifts within 30 minutes of the facility
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active RN license with recent experience in Phase 2 recovery
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Pre-op experience preferred; ability to assist pre-op staff highly valued
- Skilled at working with varied patient populations in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and a collaborative mindset
