Deliver expert post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery as an integral part of a respected perioperative team. Qualifications:

• Current, active Georgia RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• At least 1 year of RN experience in PACU, critical care, or relevant acute care settings
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Demonstrated knowledge of post-anesthesia clinical practices and recovery protocols
• Strong communication skills with ability to work strategically within interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and the Nurse Practice Act

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and vital signs throughout post-anesthesia recovery
• Provide timely interventions for pain, airway management, and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and support staff to develop and implement evidence-based care plans
• Deliver patient and family education regarding post-operative expectations, care instructions, and discharge planning
• Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards, while championing exemplary patient safety and satisfaction
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, continuous process improvement, and professional development initiatives
