Job Description

Deliver compassionate and high-quality perioperative care as a Registered Nurse specializing in PACU within a dynamic healthcare environment. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active RN license in the state of Georgia
  • 1-2 years of PACU or perioperative nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to practice in accordance with the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices and the American Nurses Association's Code of Ethics
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to function optimally within interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care throughout the perioperative and recovery process, maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort
  • Serve as a patient advocate, upholding care policies and respecting each patient's unique needs
  • Document and assess vital signs, administer medications, and monitor post-anesthesia recovery
  • Collaborate with nurse managers, physicians, and ancillary staff in implementing protocols and care plans
  • Support and participate in the hospitals quality improvement initiatives, shared governance, and service excellence goals
  • Maintain up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies
