Engage with a reputable Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU and Maternity Center, supporting an average of 60-80 patients daily across a robust perioperative care unit. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on advanced surgical casesfrom general, plastics, and bariatrics, to cardiac, neurosurgery, and pediatric procedures. Each day offers professional growth through exposure to diverse patient populations and advanced technologies like EPIC EMR and Alaris pumps, further strengthening your clinical foundation and leadership abilities. Your adaptability will shine as you float between Phase I and II Recovery, deepening skills in cardiac monitoring, post-procedural care, and patient education.

Schedule:

  • Set schedule, Monday to Friday (hours depend on assignment)
  • No weekends, no on-call, no holiday shifts
  • Up to 4 days of requested time off considered

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
  • CAPA or CPAN certification required
  • Minimum 2 years recent PACU Phase I/II experience (consideration for extensive PACU experience)
  • Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip management, and discharge instruction abilities
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Duties:

  • Care for adult and pediatric patients pre- and post-surgery, including multidisciplinary surgical procedures
  • Monitor and recover patients in both Phase I and II PACU settings
  • Collaborate with a comprehensive team: anesthesiologists, surgeons, RTs, CNAs, and more
  • Maintain accurate documentation, safely administer medications, and support a team-focused environment
