Schedule:
- Full-time travel assignment
- Flexible rotating shifts as required by facility needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical post-anesthesia care, monitoring patient recovery closely
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for post-op patients
- Respond effectively to emergent situations in a fast-paced PACU setting
- Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold highest standards of patient safety
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care and processes
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 1 year experience in a PACU or similar critical care environment
- BLS, ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Adaptability and excellent communication abilities
