As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), youll collaborate closely within an interdisciplinary team to ensure every patient and their loved ones receive individualized, high-quality, and safe care throughout the postoperative process.

Requirements & Desired Skills:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Georgia, in good standing
- Proven clinical experience in PACU or perioperative settings
- In-depth understanding of post-anesthesia assessment, monitoring, and interventions
- Familiarity with scope of practice outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
- Exceptional skills in assessment, clinical judgment, and communication
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team of nursing and allied health professionals
- Commitment to supporting and enhancing patient satisfaction and well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to patients recovering from anesthesia or surgical procedures
- Continuously monitor vital signs, airway status, and pain levels
- Rapidly respond to patient needs and emerging complications with critical thinking and decisiveness
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia personnel, and other healthcare providers
- Document care accurately per policy and regulatory requirements
- Educate patients and families regarding recovery and ongoing care
