Schedule/Hours:
- 5A 5P
As part of a highly collaborative, fast-paced pre-op holding and phase 2 recovery unit, youll join a team handling a variety of surgical, endoscopic, and procedural patients. The unit features 9 pre-op beds and 5 phase 2 recovery beds, and youll work alongside a motivated group of RNs, PRNs, and support staff. Utilize up-to-date equipment such as Pyxis systems, EKG machines, bladder scanners, Meditech EMR, and more.
Desired Qualifications:
- RN licensure and BLS/ACLS certification required
- Phase 2 recovery experience is a must
- Pre-op experience, or willingness to support pre-op care, preferred
- Comfortable with patient ratios of 1:3 and quick response expectations (30-minute call back)
- Adaptable, professional demeanor suited to a tight-knit team environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in pre-op holding and phase 2 recovery
- Administer medications, monitor vitals, and respond to emergencies
- Assist with preoperative preparations and support a range of procedures: urology, GYN, SDS, surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, CT, infusions, EKGs, and blood transfusions
- Collaborate with fellow clinicians to ensure seamless patient care and safety

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
