Role Details:
- Schedule: 13-week assignment, 40 hours per week
- Must maintain a 50-mile local radius rule
Desired Background:
- Current Registered Nurse license GA or Compact State
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Recent, relevant experience in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) preferred
- Strong critical thinking skills, rapid assessment ability, and patient-focused care
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert post-operative nursing care to surgical patients
- Vigilantly monitor vital signs and swiftly respond to changes in patient status
- Administer medications, including pain management, per physician orders
- Support and communicate with patients and their families during the recovery process
- Adhere to hospital standards, safety protocols, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
