Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM 8:30 PM (Variable/Flexible)
- 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend/Call requirements discussed at interview
Qualifications:
- Active TX RN License (no temporary licenses)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital/travel RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification
- Pre-op and Phase II surgical discharge experience required
- Preferred: PACU experience, strong IV skills, Meditech proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compassionate care in Pre-op/DaySurg/Phase II Recovery
- Maintain patient ratios: Pre-op 1:1; Short Stay (Phase II) 3:1
- Collaborate with an expert care team and allied support staff
- Float to other units per facility policy as needed
- Employ Meditech for documentation and patient management
Dress and Professionalism:
- Facility-provided RN scrubs required
- Clean, professional appearanceneat hair, covered tattoos, discreet piercings
- Adhere to strict professional code and unit guidelines
