Providing specialized nursing care within a cardiac-focused unit, this role offers an opportunity to support patients through critical pre- and post-cardiac procedures in an 8-bed Heart & Vascular Recovery unit. The position requires solid expertise in cardiac telemetry, stepdown care, and post-procedural monitoring, emphasizing teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
- Minimum 2 years experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Pre/Post Cardiac Care, and Cardiac Telemetry inpatient settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Familiarity with TR bands and pulling sheaths preferred
- Strong teamwork and flexibility to float within similar or lower acuity care units as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to post-cardiac procedural patients including electrophysiology and vascular cases
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions using telemetry and other specialized equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care and discharge planning
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold service standards in line with best practices and regulatory requirements
- Adhere to specific unit dress code and safety protocols
Hours & Schedule:
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- Approximately 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- Weekend hours scheduled only as needed
