Working in the recovery room for One Day Surgery, youll be immersed in a dynamic environment that enhances your clinical skills. Here, every day offers the chance to learn from experienced PACU teams, collaborate with interdisciplinary leaders, and expand your background across pediatric and adult care. This role not only strengthens your credentials, but also enables you to broaden your approach to patient care through interaction with advanced workplace practices and leading-edge technology.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
• No weekends, holidays, or call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current New York State RN Registration
• BLS certification (with willingness to recertify if needed)
• At least two years of recent experience in an acute care facility of similar size/level
• Prior work in outpatient/inpatient PACU, Peds PACU, and Critical Care settings
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Pristine professional record: No past or current license suspensions, ongoing investigations, or professional liability claims
• Eligibility to legally work in the U.S.
• Successful completion of health screenings, drug, and background checks

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive, high-quality nursing assessments and patient care in the PACU setting
• Function independently with minimal supervision after orientation
• Collaborate effectively within the perioperative team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
