Job Description

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience to provide exceptional patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract position requires a skilled RN capable of managing the immediate postoperative recovery phase, ensuring patient safety, and delivering compassionate care.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, assessing vital signs and pain levels, managing postoperative complications, and communicating effectively with surgical teams and patients families. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment in a fast-paced environment and exhibit proficiency in PACU protocols and patient care standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with PACU experience
  • Solid understanding of postoperative care and anesthesia effects
  • Ability to perform patient assessments and intervene as necessary
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
