As a PACU RN in this role, youll join a high-performing recovery room team dedicated to excellent patient outcomes. This position will expose you to diverse workplace practices and leadership approaches, broadening your clinical skill set and elevating your resume. The unit integrates state-of-the-art equipment, Meditech EMR, and a collaborative culturemaking it an ideal place for career growth and learning.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 am 7:00 pm
- On-call required with a 30-minute response time when on-call
Qualifications/Experience:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Adaptability with scheduling
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Calm demeanor with a focus on patient experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care and monitoring post-anesthesia in a 30-bed PACU
- Handle typical unit procedures (e.g., craniotomies, orthopedics)
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for outstanding patient care
- Adhere to unit guidelines and actively participate in ongoing improvements
