Schedule:

• 5A - 5P
• On-call rotation required; must meet 30-minute response time when on-call

Unit Overview: The Pre-Op Holding / Ambulatory Surgical Unit features 9 pre-op beds and 5 phase 2 recovery beds, staff with a mix of full-time, part-time, and PRN RNs, all supported by a dedicated unit HUC. This is an excellent setting to strengthen your Pre-Op and PACU skills alongside a collaborative and communicative team.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of recent acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience
• Current certifications in BLS & ACLS
• Experience with patient communication and prioritizing the patient experience
• Preferred: Some pre-op or phase 2 recovery experience, prior Meditech EMR exposure

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for patients undergoing a range of procedures, including pre-op for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, and CT, as well as outpatient infusions, EKGs, blocks, blood transfusions, and urology/GYN phase 2 recoveries
• Monitor patient vitals and recovery, using modern equipment such as Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG machines, Doppler, patient scale, and bladder scanner
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and providers to ensure optimal outcomes

$2,057 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
