Experience professional growth in a dynamic Pre-Op and Phase 2 Recovery unit featuring 9 Preop beds and 5 Phase 2 recovery beds. Collaborate with a seasoned team that values exceptional patient care and strong communication. Youll be able to observe and adapt diverse workplace practices, work closely with an experienced staff, and fine-tune your clinical skills with advanced equipment like GE MACVU EKG machines, Pyxis systems, and more.
Schedule/Hours
- 5A 5P
- On-call required, with a 30-minute response time
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year recent acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience
- Current, valid BLS & ACLS certifications required
- Preferred: Pre-op RN experience, familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Strong teamwork and patient-focused communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Care for patients in Pre-Op and Phase 2 recovery, including Urology, GYN and other surgical day patients
- Oversee pre-op prep for surgeries, Endo, Cath lab, CT, and outpatient procedures
- Manage infusions, EKGs, blood transfusions, and other pre- and post-op protocols
- Ensure seamless communication between patients, providers, and multidisciplinary team
