Job Description

A Registered Nurse with PACU experience is sought for a contract position in Augusta, GA, to provide expert perioperative care in a dynamic clinical setting. This role focuses on delivering individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, including licensed and unlicensed caregivers. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver post-anesthesia care, assessing and monitoring patients recovering from surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Uphold the Nursing Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics as outlined by professional nursing bodies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate patient status effectively to support clinical decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing; knowledge of Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act is essential.
