Job Description

Seeking an experienced RN with a background in Perioperative and PACU nursing to join a dedicated interdisciplinary care team. This position plays a critical role in delivering individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care to patients, families, and significant others throughout the surgical process. Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid RN license in Georgia
  • Demonstrated experience in PACU or perioperative nursing required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
  • Commitment to upholding nursing professional standards and code of ethics
  • Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care in accordance with organizational and unit-specific guidelines
  • Conduct post-anesthesia assessments and monitor patient vitals, providing timely interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied healthcare professionals for coordinated care delivery
  • Educate patients and families regarding post-surgical care and recovery expectations
  • Uphold and advocate for policies, procedures, and service excellence objectives
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with governing regulations
