Job Description
This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) nursing. The position involves active participation in a multidisciplinary care team to deliver individualized, safe, high-quality patient care in a perioperative clinical setting. Practice aligns with recognized nursing models and standards, emphasizing evidence-based care and patient advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient-centered care.
- Uphold nursing standards as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
- Support service excellence initiatives while ensuring adherence to system policies and procedures.
- Participate in shared governance activities and adhere to professional practice frameworks.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed RN with credentials to practice in Georgia.
- Experience in PACU or perioperative nursing preferred.
- Strong commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
