Step into a critical position supporting patients during their post-anesthesia recovery period. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic surgical environment, directly providing and coordinating high-level nursing care for patients emerging from surgical procedures. Youll function as a professional Registered Nurse, taking initiative in patient assessment, care planning, direct implementation, and thorough evaluation of recovery progress.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid RN license
• Proficiency in PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) nursing
• Ability to coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care efficiently
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to promote teamwork among the healthcare team
• Demonstrated clinical competence in perioperative nursing, preferably with RNFA experience
• Working knowledge of established standards of nursing practice and facility guidelines

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based position; schedule details provided upon interview

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive assessment and monitoring of patients in the post-anesthesia phase
• Develop individualized care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
• Support surgeons and perioperative teams as an RNFA, assisting with perioperative care under established policies
• Uphold the departments standards of conduct, focusing on quality, patient service, safety, and professional accountability
• Ensure seamless collaboration among surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain meticulous documentation and follow established protocols for patient safety
