Job Description
Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) services. This role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the surgical experience. Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate and delegate patient care tasks while adhering to established Standards of Nursing Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the primary operating surgeon during perioperative patient care.
- Manage and evaluate patient needs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Uphold professional nursing standards and facility policies.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in an expanded nursing capacity.
- Promote collaboration among multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Maintain accountability in accordance with established conduct and quality standards.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with PACU specialization.
- Proven experience in perioperative nursing and patient care coordination.
- Ability to work under the direction of surgeons and perioperative leadership.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to upholding nursing standards and facility policies.
