Expand your skill set in a PACU unit equipped with the latest technology, serving a broad range of patients including trauma and pediatric cases, and supporting advanced procedures such as ventilator monitoring. Youll gain exposure to a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke care, and the regions only childrens hospital, deepening your capabilities in high-acuity care.
Schedule:
- 6-week schedules released at a time
- 3 call shifts required per 6-week schedule
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale experience
- Trauma and pediatric nursing experience
- Ability to monitor ventilators and perform advanced PACU procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent post-anesthesia care in a 40-bed unit (1:2 ratio)
- Collaborate with a skilled multidisciplinary team (HUC support, PCTs, and tech staff)
- Adhere to hospital safety and patient experience standards
- Flex across peri-anesthesia areas (Endoscopy, PreOp, Phase II) as needed
