Job Description

Providing expert postoperative care in a fast-paced recovery unit requires skilled nursing professionals dedicated to patient safety and comfort. This opportunity is ideal for registered nurses with experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU) seeking a contract role in Arvada, CO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia, assessing vital signs and level of consciousness
  • Manage pain control and administer medications as prescribed
  • Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesiologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on postoperative care instructions
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement corrective actions when needed

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active RN license with credentials in Post-Anesthesia Care
  • Proven experience working in PACU or similar critical care environments
  • Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols and patient monitoring techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective care coordination
