This role places you in a dynamic pre-op and phase 2 recovery setting. Working alongside a dedicated and experienced team, youll gain exposure to best practices in surgical patient care, cutting-edge technology, and strong collaborative processes. Schedule:
- Day shifts: 5A 5P
- On-call is required with a 30-minute response time when on-call
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license (eligible to practice)
- At least 1 year of recent, acute care hospital Pre-Op RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Comfort with Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG, Doppler, bladder scanner, and Meditech EMR
- Strong communication and collaborative skills; patient experience is a top priority
- Prior pre-op and Meditech experience preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-operative care and assessments for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, CT, and outpatient procedures
- Support phase 2 recovery, including urology, GYN, SDS patients
- Perform outpatient infusions, EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions
- Ensure documentation and safety protocols align with hospital guidelines
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and providers

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
