This travel nursing assignment places you in a modern surgical environment, providing comprehensive pre-op and Phase 2 recovery care. With advanced equipment including Pyxis, GE MACVU EKG, Doppler, and more, youll hone your skills and broaden your competencies in a supportive unit. Exposure to a dynamic mix of proceduressuch as recoveries for urology, GYN, endoscopy, cath lab, CT, and outpatient infusionsmeans every shift brings valuable new experience.
Youll collaborate with seasoned colleagues, expanding your clinical toolkit while learning from diverse leadership and practice styles. With access to cutting-edge healthcare technology and effective EMR systems like Meditech, youll return home with an enriched resume and fresh perspective.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: 5A 5P
- On-call required; 30-minute response time when scheduled
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1-year current, acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Favorable consideration for candidates with Meditech proficiency and prior pre-op support experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care for pre-op holding and Phase 2 recovery
- Prepare patients for surgery, endo, cath lab, CT, and outpatient procedures
- Perform infusions, EKGs, blood transfusions, and assist in patient assessments
- Maintain stellar communication with team members and providers
- Support a positive and patient-focused care environment
