This travel role is designed for driven RN-PACU professionals looking to grow their skills, collaborate with top clinicians, and take on new professional challenges. Youll be supported by exceptional teams, with the added benefit of an assignment that lets you experience a new region and explore all that Northern Georgia has to offer during your downtime.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Georgia or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
- Minimum of one year of recent PACU nursing experience preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care to surgical patients
- Monitor patient recovery, managing symptoms and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Educate patients and family members on post-surgical care and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
