A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in wound care to contribute to patient recovery and wellness. Schedule:
- Day shift, 4x10-hour days (07:00 - 18:00)
- No on-call or floating duties
Responsibilities:
- Manage and treat patients with various wound types including hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPI), ostomies, and complex wounds requiring specialized care
- Provide comprehensive wound consults and implement wound VAC therapies
- Utilize Epic EMR system efficiently for documentation and communication
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in California or compact state
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in wound care nursing
- Wound Care certification required; Wound and Ostomy certification or WCC preferred
- BLS (AHA) certification mandatory
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
Contract Details:
- 13-week travel assignment offering a structured work week with no after-hours responsibilities
