Schedule/Hours
- 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 18:00)
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating between units
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized wound care and manage patients with HAPI, ostomies, or Wound VACs
- Conduct patient assessments, wound consults, and develop evidence-based care plans
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize healing and patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments and interventions using Epic EMR
- Provide patient education on wound care and prevention strategies
Desired Qualifications
- Valid RN license (CA or compact)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Wound Care certification required; Wound, Ostomy Certification or WCC preferred
- Prior experience with Epic medical record system
- Strong clinical judgement and excellent patient communication skills
