Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Shift: Day, 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 18:00)
- No on-call or floating
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license (CA or compact state)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Wound Care certification (WCC or Wound and Ostomy certification preferred)
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Minimum 2 years relevant nursing experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct wound assessments and develop treatment plans
- Manage complex wound care cases, including wound VACs and ostomies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Provide education and support for patients and families on wound hygiene and care
- Maintain meticulous patient records within Epic EMR
