Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts
- 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation
- Weekend coverage as needed
- On-call duty required; must be onsite during on-call hours
- Holiday coverage as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Alaska RN license (or eligibilitylicensure process typically takes about 8 weeks)
- Certified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) credentials from NBCRNA
- Minimum of 23 years experience in an acute care environment
- COVID-19 vaccine compliance (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Doctorate in nursing preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer a full range of anesthesia services for surgical, emergency, and obstetric procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, develop individualized anesthesia care plans, and ensure patient safety throughout perioperative phases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Respond to emergency situations with advanced decision-making and acute clinical skills
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
