A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with emergency room experience. This position offers the chance to provide crucial care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in good standing
- Recent experience in an emergency room (ER) setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure and rapidly changing situations
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Proficient in electronic medical records documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ER patients of diverse backgrounds and acuity
- Triage, assess, and monitor patients while prioritizing according to clinical urgency
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and provide education to patients and families
- Collaborate closely with attending physicians and other care providers
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with facility policies
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety standards
