Schedule/Hours:
- Day shifts (9 hours per shift)
- Monday through Thursday
- One weekend per month
- 12 call shifts per week
- 13-week assignment
Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent OR/Operating Room nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required
- Skilled in perioperative patient care and able to thrive in both routine and urgent situations
Essential Responsibilities:
- Scrub and circulate in the OR, maintaining strict adherence to aseptic techniques
- Prepare patients for surgery and monitor their intraoperative status
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team
- Assist with post-operative care and documentation
- Remain flexible for call shifts and adjust to the varying needs of the unit
