Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 18:00)
- No on-call or floating
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California or compact nursing license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, specifically in wound care
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Wound Care certification required; Wound and Ostomy certification or WCC preferred
- Strong familiarity with Epic EMR system
Patient Population & Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients with HAPI, conducting wound assessments and interventions
- Manage wound consultations, oversee wound VAC therapy, and participate in ostomy care
- Document patient progress using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
