Schedule & Assignment Details:
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 18:00)
- No on-call or floating required
- 13-week contract length
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (California or compact)
- Minimum 2 years of wound care RN experience
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Wound Care certification required; Wound and Ostomy certification or WCC preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Expertise managing HAPI, wound consults, ostomy, and wound VAC
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-level wound and ostomy care consultations and follow-ups
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for complex wound cases
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation within Epic
- Educate patients and families on wound management and preventative strategies
