Schedule:
- Day shift, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 18:00)
- No on-call requirements or floating
- 13-week assignment
Professional Experience:
- Work with patient populations presenting with HAPI, wound consults, ostomies, and wound VACs.
- Contribute your expertise as part of a specialized wound care team, expanding your knowledge through daily collaboration and hands-on experience with diverse acute and chronic cases.
Qualifications:
- Active CA or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience
- Wound Care certification required; Wound and Ostomy certification or WCC preferred
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Prior experience with Epic EMR
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized wound care and ostomy treatment plans
- Perform ongoing evaluation of patients wounds and modify care as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams to optimize positive patient outcomes
- Provide education, support, and resources to patients and families regarding wound prevention and care
- Meticulously document care delivery and progress using the Epic system
