Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in Progressive Care Units (PCU) to enhance patient care. This contract position offers a collaborative environment where your clinical expertise will make a meaningful impact.

Schedule/Hours:

• 3x12 hour day shifts

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Prior experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar step-down/telemetry setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficient with electronic medical records and charting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with acute and chronic conditions
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform routine and advanced assessments
• Coordinate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status, escalating care as necessary
• Document interventions and patient progress thoroughly and accurately
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and ongoing care needs
• Uphold infection control standards and ensure patient safety at all times
