Dynamic registered nurses with expertise in emergency room care are needed for a contract assignment. In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care while responding rapidly and efficiently during critical situations. Youll collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure each patient receives the highest quality treatment during urgent and emergent events.

Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• At least one year of recent experience in an ER setting
• Advanced knowledge of emergency protocols, triage, and critical care techniques
• BLS and ACLS certification (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are a plus)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Effective communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Responsibilities:

• Perform quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients
• Triage and prioritize based on acuity of care required
• Administer medications, IVs, and emergency interventions as needed
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes, and initiate appropriate responses
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date patient electronic health records
• Educate patients and family members about diagnoses, treatments, and post-care instructions
• Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines
