In this Operating Room assignment, youll refine your expertise by managing complex surgical cases in a 7-bed unit that values collaboration and patient-centered care. This travel position allows you to collaborate with seasoned colleaguesbroadening your clinical perspective and enhancing your adaptability. Youll also enjoy the fulfillment of helping patients in a close-knit healthcare environment while expanding your resume with new skills and experiences.
Schedule & Hours
- 9-hour day shifts
- Monday through Thursday
- One weekend per month
- 1-2 call shifts per week
- 13-week assignment
What You'll Need
- Current RN license, with at least 2 years of relevant operating room experience
- Valid certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Prior experience in a similar setting is preferred
- Ability to respond quickly in high-stress environments and provide exceptional surgical care
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op processes
- Support surgeons and anesthesia teams, ensuring a sterile and safe environment
- Respond to emergencies with confidence and professionalism
- Document meticulously and adhere to hospital protocols
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members
