By joining this travel assignment, you have the opportunity to expand your clinical skills in the operating room, develop adaptable approaches to a variety of surgical cases, and strengthen your professional rsum with sought-after multi-state experience. During your downtime, explore local hiking trails, discover hidden gems in nearby historic towns, or simply unwind in the peaceful rural landscape.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift: Monday through Thursday
  • 9-hour shifts
  • 1 weekend per month
  • 12 call shifts per week
  • 13-week assignment

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with experience in the Operating Room
  • Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, expert nursing care to patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
  • Collaborate efficiently with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs
  • Maintain clinical documentation with precision and accuracy in a 7-bed OR unit
  • Assure strict adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines
  • Be prepared for rapid clinical decision-making and effective communication during urgent situations
