Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) with strong acute care backgrounds. In this dynamic role, you will deliver anesthesia care in a fast-paced healthcare environment, supporting surgical and procedural teams with expertise and compassion. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available to meet your professional needs.
Schedule:
- 12-hour day shifts
- Three weeks on, two weeks off rotation
- Weekend, on-call, and holiday coverage as required (on-site presence during call hours is mandatory)
Qualifications:
- Active Alaska RN License (approximately 8 weeks processing time; must be obtained prior to start)
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification required
- Minimum 23 years of CRNA experience in an acute care setting
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Doctorate degree preferred, but not required
Responsibilities:
- Administer safe and effective anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures
- Evaluate patient histories and develop customized anesthesia plans
- Monitor patient vitals throughout procedures, adjusting care as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent situations
