Expand your career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in a dynamic healthcare environment supporting surgical services and patient care in Alaska. This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, providing a balanced rotation of 12-hour day shifts (three weeks on, two weeks off). On-call duties and weekend or holiday coverage may be required, with an expectation of onsite presence during on-call hours.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts
• Flexible three weeks on, two weeks off rotation
• Weekend, on-call, and holiday requirements as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Active Alaska RN license, or the ability to obtain (processing may take up to 8 weeks)
• Certification as a CRNA through the NBCRNA
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in an acute care setting
• COVID vaccination or an approved medical/religious exemption
• Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality anesthesia services for a variety of patient procedures within an acute care setting
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Conduct patient assessments, develop tailored anesthesia plans, and monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to evidence-based protocols
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing critical support
