As a Registered Nurse with expertise in both general nursing and PCU settings, youll play a vital role supporting patients with complex needs during their recovery.

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour day shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Previous experience caring for patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or a similar acute care setting
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions
• Monitor patient condition, recognizing and responding promptly to clinical changes
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies safely and accurately
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, care processes, and next steps in recovery
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and quality standards
