Schedule:

• 3x12 hour night shifts

Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license
• Recent experience working in a Progressive Care Unit or similar step-down environment
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with physicians, healthcare team members, patients, and families
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and bedside procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exemplary nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and interventions in a PCU setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, promptly reporting any changes to clinical leadership
• Administer medications, manage IV drips, and oversee advanced patient care equipment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care plans and promote positive patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families on condition management, treatment options, and post-discharge instructions
• Uphold rigorous infection prevention, patient safety, and confidentiality standards at all times
