This exciting travel assignment provides hands-on experience in a 7-bed Operating Room, offering OR RNs a valuable opportunity to deepen expertise and broaden their skillset. Youll work alongside diverse surgical teams, gaining exposure to best practices and varying leadership stylesan excellent way to boost your resume and prepare for future leadership roles.
Schedule & Hours
- Day shifts: 9-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday
- One weekend per month
- 1-2 call shifts per week
- 13-week assignment
Desired Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience working in a 7-bed unit or similar fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient safety and sterile technique
- Monitor and manage patient care before, during, and after surgeries
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
- Respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotations as scheduled
- Document care and maintain rigorous attention to detail
