Job Description
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in emergency care and other nursing disciplines. This position is ideal for a compassionate professional driven to provide excellent patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Recent experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting required
- Proficiency in general nursing practices across diverse patient populations
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments
Responsibilities:
- Assess and triage patients according to acuity and clinical condition
- Deliver direct patient care, including administration of medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient status and communicate changes or concerns promptly to the care team
- Document care provided and patient responses accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families facing urgent health issues
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
