An exciting opportunity is open for registered nurses with Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment. As a vital member of the nursing team, you will work on a 3x12 night shift schedule at the Chula Vista campus, delivering specialized care and supporting positive patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• 3x12-hour night shifts

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year RN experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar high-acuity environment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications, with strong clinical assessment skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking abilities
• Experience with electronic medical records is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients in the PCU, responding to changes in condition and coordinating care accordingly
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide interventions as indicated by healthcare providers
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to cardiac events
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and wellness strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards
• Support other nurses and contribute positively to unit morale

$3,225 - $3,400/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
