As a Traveling Operating Room RN, youll experience a wide spectrum of clinical situations and collaborate with professionals who offer varied approaches to surgical care and leadership. This 13-week assignment will deepen your expertise, provide valuable insight into different workplace cultures, and highlight your resume with firsthand experience in a specialized, 7-bed OR unit.
Schedule/Hours:
- 9-hour Day Shifts
- Monday through Thursday
- One weekend per month
- 12 call shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent OR experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Demonstrated clinical skills in the operating room and flexibility to manage call shifts
Professional Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert perioperative care across a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to maintain safety and best patient outcomes
- Rotate through on-call and weekend shifts, responding efficiently to emergent needs
- Engage in continuous process improvement and patient care initiatives aligned with facility standards
