This 13-week assignment will advance your clinical expertise as you collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team, managing diverse cases such as HAPI, wound consults, ostomy care, and Wound VAC therapy. Exposure to different hospital protocols and leadership styles will help you expand your skill set and add valuable experiences to your resume. Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 18:00); no on-call, no floating
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- EMR: Epic (prior experience required)
Required Qualifications:
- RN license (CA or compact)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Wound Care certification required; Wound and Ostomy or WCC certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Proven experience with wound care and ostomy management
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert assessment and management of complex wounds, ostomies, and skin conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams on wound consults and care planning
- Provide patient and staff education on wound and ostomy care best practices
- Accurately document care interventions using Epic
