Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 18:00)
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating required
- 13-week contract
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Active CA or compact state RN license
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience
- Specialty experience in wound care required
- Wound Care certification required; Wound and Ostomy certification or WCC preferred
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Recent Epic EMR experience required
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized wound care, including assessments, treatments, and ongoing management for patients with HAPI, ostomies, and wound vacs
- Perform wound consults and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain meticulous documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of patient safety and infection control
- Educate patients and families on wound management, preventive care, and recovery strategies
