Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts/week (07:00 - 18:00)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- No on-call or floating required
This role offers exposure to a variety of patient diagnoses including HAPI, wound consultations, ostomies, and Wound VAC management. Youll work closely with clinicians using Epic EMR, participating in innovative wound and ostomy care protocols that will broaden your expertise.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in CA or compact state
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Wound Care certification required (Wound and Ostomy certification, or WCC, strongly preferred)
- Advanced Epic EMR proficiency
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct wound assessments and manage treatment plans
- Perform consults and develop care approaches for patients with complex wounds and ostomies
- Apply wound VAC therapy and collaborate on interdisciplinary care
- Document thoroughly using Epic
- Educate patients and families on wound management and preventive care
