Key Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred)
- Exceptional communication and team collaboration skills
- Familiarity with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive perioperative care to surgical patients in accordance with best practices
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists before, during, and after procedures
- Carefully document observations, interventions, and patient outcomes
- Ensure a sterile and safe environment by adhering to all infection control standards
- Support and educate patients and families throughout the surgical process
