Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and well-organized environment
- Assess patient needs and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff
- Provide expert intraoperative nursing care and rapid response to changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate surgical documentation and support post-operative assessments
- Contribute to infection control and quality improvement initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
- Current RN license, with eligibility to practice in Virginia
- Experience in an Operating Room setting (minimum one year preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workplace cultures
