This travel RN position in the Operating Room lets you collaborate with seasoned specialists, sharpen your surgical skills, and be part of innovative practices in perioperative care. Schedule/Hours:
- Two 10-hour shifts per week
- Up to 7 days of on-call per 4-week schedule, including a full weekend
Required Qualifications:
- Current New York State RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associates degree minimum)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proficiency with EPIC and Omnicell preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, effective care for adult surgical patients in a two-bed OR setting
- Manage 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios to ensure optimal attention and safety
- Respond to common surgical diagnoses, including CAD, AS, and MR
- Flex to support other units if needed, collaborating seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team
