Join a dynamic surgical team as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at a reputable healthcare facility in Westfield, MA. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the surgeon in a lead role during operations until the procedures conclusion
- Circulating as needed to provide comprehensive perioperative assistance
- Adhering to established organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Completion of an RN First Assisting course aligned with the AORN Core Curriculum
- Minimum of five years of diversified perioperative nursing experience with proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- On-call responsibility two days per week from 5 p.m. (or end of shift) to 7 p.m.
- Every third weekend includes a 24-hour on-call period (Saturday and Sunday)
