Exciting opportunity available for a skilled RN specializing in Operating Room care. This contract role centers on delivering coordinated and compassionate nursing care, whether for individual patients or assigned groups, in alignment with established standards and the nursing process. You will play a vital part in ensuring optimal patient outcomes through active supervision, collaboration, and use of sound clinical judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive and attentive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Oversee and support the activities of assigned nursing personnel to ensure the highest quality patient care.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff.
• Apply critical thinking and swift decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
• Demonstrate professional discretion and independent judgment in clinical practice.

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license.
• Minimum of one year experience working as an RN in an Operating Room setting.
• Thorough understanding of the surgical nursing process and perioperative patient care.
• Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain, if required).
