As an Operating Room Registered Nurse in perioperative services, youll further your clinical expertise by working alongside a dedicated surgical team, utilizing advanced technologies and innovative procedures. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position; flexible scheduling to accommodate work-life balance
Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, assess, and evaluate perioperative nursing care for surgical patients
- Serve as Scrub Technician as needed, ensuring all sterile protocols are upheld
- Coordinate and delegate care for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with established Standards of Nursing Practice
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members
- Foster a positive, cooperative atmosphere to support team success
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- BLS certification (additional certifications may be preferred)
- Minimum of one year recent Operating Room experience (perioperative skills)
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and perioperative regulations
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication abilities
