Schedule
- Shift: Days, 6:30am 3:00pm, 40 guaranteed hours weekly
- Call: 12 weekends/month, 12 weekdays/weekend as required
- Weekend hours based on callback needs
Desired Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Minimum 2 years experience as an OR circulator
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Associates Degree in Nursing
- Strong experience in General, Ortho, C-sections/GYN, ENT, Pediatric dental, and Urology cases
- Team-oriented with adaptability and strong communication skills
- Vascular experience (Fem-pop, AV fistula) preferred
- Comfort working with adults, geriatrics, and occasional pediatric cases
Core Responsibilities
- Act as circulating nurse for surgical procedures in a modern 5-room OR setting
- Ensure patient safety and readiness prior, during, and after surgical procedures
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and support staff
- Maintain a high standard of documentation using Meditech Magic EHR
- Support infection control protocols and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in on-call rotations as assigned
