This opportunity lets you elevate your clinical acumen by engaging in complex surgical cases alongside expert teams in the Adult Operating Room. Youll collaborate with diverse colleagues and leaders, gaining exposure to a variety of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, trauma, neurosurgery, and robotics. This setting is perfect for RNs eager to broaden their experience, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and build a standout resume in a supportive, high-acuity environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Rotating 8- and 12-hour shifts
- Includes on-call and some weekend requirements
- No assignments exclusively on 12-hour shifts
Your background includes:
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a high-volume OR setting
- Comfortable handling general, orthopedic, trauma, neuro, and robotic cases
- Adaptability to rotating shifts and call schedules
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Primary responsibilities:
- Circulating and scrubbing in a variety of adult surgical cases
- Effectively collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, surgeons, and anesthesia providers
- Maintaining the highest standards for patient safety in a level 1 trauma environment
- Participating in educational rounds and preceptorship when needed
