This is an exceptional opportunity for Operating Room RNs to gain experience within a premier, high-acuity environment. Here, youll collaborate with leading surgeons and dedicated multidisciplinary teams at a hospital renowned for its culture of safety, innovation, and patient satisfactionincluding distinctions such as a Level 1 Trauma & Burn Center and Joint Commission Stroke Certification. Working closely with top professionals, youll enhance your clinical skills and broaden your leadership potential, building a resume that stands out with trauma, vascular, and robotic surgical experience.
Schedule/Hours:
- Days, 3x12 hour shifts (FridaySunday)
- 36 hours/week guaranteed
- Call as scheduled, approximately 5 or fewer per 8 weeks
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 2 years Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience; teaching hospital experience considered
- Scrub and Circulator experience essential
- At least 1 year interventional vascular and conscious sedation competency
- Ability to float as needed
- Highly motivated, self-starter attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and holistic care from assessment to evaluation across all ages
- Assist with vascular surgeons in both the main OR and the hybrid imaging suite
- Work collaboratively with a dynamic team for both endoscopic and open cases
- Uphold patient rights, confidentiality, and the highest standards of professionalism
